#Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Dear Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Committee, We the undersigned, respectfully urge you to induct The Three Degrees, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame….
Originally formed in 1963, the Three Degrees is the longest running “girl group” with a long list of international and top ten hits from the ’70s and ’80s. The Degrees have worked with the likes of Giorgio Moroder, Shirley Bassey, and even Prince Charles! Please sign your name to the above petition to the Three Degrees in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
Happy birthday to my childhood hero, Lynda Carter! I used to sneak downstairs every Saturday morning at 7am to watch reruns of the show that originally aired in the ’70s. Sometimes my mom would wake up in time and we’d watch it together before she prepared a big family breakfast. Great memories and the actress’ portrayal of the Amazon Princess continues to inspire me as much as it did when I was six!
Today is Batman’s 75 anniversary so I’m wearing my favorite vintage Batman tank top, drinking from a Batman glass, and reading Batman comics (with Wonder Woman, of course)!

City Hall Plaza’s most infamous moment came in 1976, when an anti-busing protester swung a pole bearing an American flag at a black lawyer. But an alternative vision of the ’70s, and of much-maligned City Hall Plaza, came to life Friday evening — at the free Donna Summer Memorial Roller Disco Tribute Party sponsored by the Walsh administration’s Office of Arts and Culture and the annual dance music festival Together Boston. The famous disco singer, who died in 2012, grew up in Dorchester; the accident of her stage surname was enough to justify a tribute party on a crystal-clear night in July.
It was exciting to see Angela, Paul, and Chandler in the Globe this afternoon!
"Women tend to react in a different way … reactionary (thinking), going from your heart sometimes more than from your head."
From USA Today, Meredith Finch - upcoming writer of Wonder Woman.
Do women react more with their hearts? I want your opinion, friends! The future creative team of Wonder Woman is under internet scrutiny for various comments made in interviews.
Do you agree or disagree with this quote? Personally, I’m willing to let the work speak for the artists (starting in November), but I’m fascinated by people’s strong reaction to such statements.
